OCTOBER 22 – 28, 2017

“Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything; tell God your needs, and don’t forget to thank him for his answers. If you do this, you will experience God’s peace, which is far more wonderful than the human mind can understand. His peace will keep your thoughts and your hearts quiet and at rest as you trust in Christ Jesus.” ‭‭(Philippians‬ ‭4:6-7‬ ‭TLB‬‬)

Are you facing a test right now?  Has it been for a while?  My dear Reader, you need to pass that test!!  When tests and trials come against us, we need to just pass it, so that our hearts and thoughts are at peace.  When our hearts and thoughts are at peace, we can hear clearly what God is saying to us and see clearly what He is showing us.  “Ok, what are you saying here Ehi? If I knew how to get out of this situation, I definitely won’t be here. You’re saying pass the test like I don’t know I should get out of it, or as though I am not doing anything to end this. I’ve tried everything!”  You may be saying.  But oh no, my dear Reader!  I’m not asking you to get an A* in the test, I am saying “PASS ON the test!”

Pass it on to Jesus.  Just say “thank you very much Lord, here, it’s all yours!” and pass the test on to Jesus.

The text let’s us know that we have the power, opportunity, privilege and right to pass on whatever concerns we have to the Lord.  In fact, it is an instruction to us, and He is committed to receive the test and give you peace.  So you, be committed to passing it on to Him!

Don’t hold on to anything that makes you worry or anxious or bothered, take it to the Lord, thank Him for the privilege and leave it with Him.  One thing I can tell you for certain is that when you pass it on to Him, you will definitely experience peace.  That peace is a confirmation to you that you have successfully passed it on.  If you have not yet experienced peace, then ask the Lord to help you to give Him your concerns because you know it is not yours to hold on to.  He wants us to always be in the place of peace so we can fulfill our purpose, which fulfills His general purpose.  So, you can be sure that He definitely will help you.

For a very long time, I didn’t know I could do this.  I didn’t know this side of God because I was taught that it was all up to me now to live out all that Jesus has done for me.  If I was facing any challenge, I had to bring myself out of it because Jesus has already given me the power to come out of it.  I am now a superwoman.  And so, I would pray (speaking in tongues, declaring my freedom from the challenge, calling forth my victory and blasting any devils trying to get at me).  I would fast, sow seeds, focus on not thinking any negative thing.  I would try not to be anxious – but it was hard not to be anxious.  Initially, all this worked but as time passed, it didn’t seem to work smoothly anymore.

One day, I found out that the challenge, the test was not mine to keep.  I found out that it is not my place to try not to be anxious.  I actually don’t have the energy for that because there is someone who is working in me both to will and to do of His good pleasure.  I am alive because someone is living in me.  That someone is now my life.  So whenever I face anything, it’s my place to pass it on to Him and His place to sort it out. That’s our partnership: He will keep me in peace, if I will trust Him with my life. Truthfully, He is your life now, if you are born-again.

Dear Reader, stay your mind on Jesus and experience perfect peace always (Isaiah 26:3-4).  Be committed to your partnership with Him.  Be committed to your part in your partnership with Him, and allow yourself to experience His part in your partnership with Him.  As long as you are born-again, the Lord is now responsible for you.  He is your Father!  He is your Shepherd!  See Psalm 23.  The challenge you face is for Him to solve.  So, don’t hold on to it, just pass it on!  Always remember that the Lord is committed to ensuring you live and enjoy a successful life.

I pray that the Lord will grant you the wisdom and strength to pass on to Him completely whatever concerns you may have. I pray that this week you will experience perfect peace and see miracles. In the mighty name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. Amen!! Enjoy your life this week without any worries!!
